Nanners Plays it Cool…Joaquin Phoenix style February 13, 2009

Inspired by Joaquin Phoenix’s recent “retirement from acting,” his Letterman guest appearance last night (2/11), and his rap performance a few weeks ago, Nanners has decided to put on his own hoax. He’s doned some shades, grown a beard, he’s workin’ on his music and ‘playin’ it cool.’

Of course, like Mr. Phoenix, Nanners is really only kidding himself, hoping to gain media attention for his Andy Kaufman-like publicity stunt — which is likely going to end up being a “Borat”-style shock comedy. Or perhaps Nanners and Joaquin are both having a public meltdown. Either way, maybe Nanners can land a Letterman spot, too. That’d be neat!

Nanners goes 3-D again for Friday the 13th!! February 12, 2009

Nanners has decided that in order to celebrate the horrific release of “Friday the 13th,” a film so dreadfully bad it makes the old ones look great in comparision, he’ll once again go 3-D, with only his trusty knife to save him from the horror or Jason and his terrible movie! So, pop on your 3-D glasses and enjoy!! If you don’t have 3-D, here’s a cool tutorial that teaches you how to make them.

Nanners hides from Christian Bale! February 5, 2009

If you haven’t heard, back in July, Christian Bale went on a somewhat justified angry tirade against cinematographer Shane Hurlbert (on the set of Terminator: Salvation) after he entered Bale’s line of sight during a crucial dramatic scene in the film. Apparently, it wasn’t the first time he’d done this, either.

While Your Daily Nanners firmly believes director McG is to blame for not being able to control his set, his crew and his actors appropriately, Nanners is to blame for releasing the audio of Bale flipping out. As it turns out, Nanners came upon the audio recording while searching for a decent Hippopotamus growl on google and decided to send it to TMZ.

Why? Well, because Nanners is silly.

Now, Nanners has gotten word that Bale is after him…and he’s scared, so he’s decided to hide:

While Bale’s rant was hardly anything compared the bloody rants and wails of hooligans at a British Football game, he’s still scared that the beefy Hollywood star might come after him with a fiery vengeance. Nanners was just being silly…he promises! Hopefully Bale won’t catch him.
